Welcome to the my Jokelainen genealogy pages! I have been able to connect myself to about 140 Jokelainen relatives so far, much due to the help I received from Mauri Sumen, (a distant relative as it turns out), in finding some key missing information. What has become clear, is that the Jokelainen's seem to originate from the tiny village of Uura, near Paltamo, Finland. A detailed view of the village can be seen in this map.
